New / Used Preparation Technician

Due to expansion, we are recruiting for a qualified technician at Roger Young, to undertake the pre-delivery inspection of new and used Jaguar Land Rover vehicles and the pre-sale inspection and servicing of used cars.

We are looking for individuals with experience in motor vehicle service, maintenance and repair, able to deliver consistently high quality of work. Main dealer experience would be advantageous.

You will be qualified to NVQ level or equivalent.

MOT Tester

We are seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join the team at Roger Young.

The successful candidate will be expected, to conduct MOT inspections, issue MOT documentation, ensure security of MOT certification process and implement the MOT scheme in full compliance with Driver And Vehicle Standards Agency and in line with Manufacturer & company policy.

Tyre fitting experience would be advantageous.

Vehicle Technician

An opportunity has arisen at Roger Young for a Vehicle Technician to join the team. Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician is essential. Experience in carrying servicing and repairs to vehicles and diagnostic work using the latest equipment supplied.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking to progress their career within a franchised environment and has the desire and ability to work to and achieve targets and objectives.

We are looking for individuals that have technical knowledge, can work well in a team, have excellent record of time management, attention to detail, problem solving skills and excellent communication skills.

Salary will be matched to skills and experience with manufactures training provided.

  • To service and repair customers vehicles.
  • To complete and maintain accurate documentation in line with company procedures.
  • Following all of the company’s health and safety policies.
  • Completing job cards and working to meet targets and deadlines.
