Ten competing technicians (five from Jaguar and five from Land Rover), who qualified for the exclusive Skills and Assessment Day after winning three rounds of technical quizzes on JLR World, were scrutinised by JLR Academy judges recently to determine who would make it through to the prestigious Global Everyday Challenge event in September.

We are delighted to announce that Roger Young Jaguar technician Aaron and Roger Young Land Rover technician Stuart came in the top three at the event.

The talented technicians faced five taxing tasks of 45 minutes’ duration, across both Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles, with marks being awarded for vehicle care, house-keeping, health and safety, accuracy of write-up, appropriate diagnostic method and correct answers to the theory questions; an intense test of their technical know-how.

To mark the end of the exciting, but gruelling day, the competitors celebrated their achievement with a delicious dinner and awards presentation at the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Round Room restaurant in Stratford-Upon-Avon.

A big congratulations to all the competitors; your technical skills and know-how are first class.
