Isuzu D Max EV Motor and Battery

Every D Max EV uses a 66.9kWh lithium ion battery and a dual motor electric system. One motor powers the front wheels and another powers the rear wheels, producing a combined 149.3kW and 347.6Nm of torque.

The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 62mph in 10.1 seconds and has a maximum speed of more than 80mph. Its official WLTP range is up to 263km, approximately 163 miles.

Charging from zero to 100 per cent takes around 10 hours with an 11kW AC charger. A 50kW DC charger can replenish the battery from 20 to 80 per cent in around one hour. The battery is covered by an eight year or 100,000 mile warranty, subject to Isuzu terms and conditions.

Technology

Depending on the chosen version, the D Max EV includes an 8 inch or 9 inch multifunction colour touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto allow compatible smartphones to connect to selected navigation, music and communication applications.

Drivers can also choose from four regenerative braking levels and use Eco Mode to support efficient driving.

Isuzu D Max EV Trims and Colours

The D Max EV is available in two versions, the eDL40 and the range topping eV Cross.

The eDL40 is offered as an Extended Cab or Double Cab. The Extended Cab provides folding rear seats and a 1,805mm load bed, while the Double Cab seats up to five people and includes rear ISOFIX mounting points.

Standard eDL40 equipment includes leather upholstery, heated front seats, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat, dual zone climate control, Bi LED headlights, silver side steps and 18 inch alloy wheels.

The eV Cross is available exclusively as a Double Cab. It adds black exterior details, black side steps, rugged style 18 inch alloy wheels and an automatically dimming rear view mirror.

Available colours include Splash White, Mercury Silver, Onyx Black, Mountain Grey, Biarritz Blue and Dolomite White.

Performance and Safety

Full time four wheel drive is standard across the range. The D Max EV also offers a 30.5 degree approach angle and a 24.2 degree departure angle, supporting travel over difficult ground.
